Sister Lucy C. Marindany is a native of Kenya, East Africa. She belongs to the Institute of the Little Sisters of Saint Francis of Assisi. She graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in Education at Marist International University, Nairobi, Kenya and earned a post graduate degree in Education at Egerton State University in Kenya. She graduated with a Master’s Degree in Education at Saint John’s University New York, New York.
She is currently an administrator, working with young children at St. Ann Center for Intergenerational Care, in the inner city of Milwaukee, WI.
In response to her Franciscan charism of serving and caring for the neediest in the society today, she founded the nonprofit Little Sisters of St. Francis – Midwest Inc. (dba Little Sisters’ Angel Fund).
Some of her hobbies include reading, research, travelling, meeting new people, taking walks, crocheting and knitting.
