At the age of 2 years Jacob was abandoned by both of his parents after they divorced. The area leaders placed him in the care of his grandmother
since he had no other relations. Unfortunately his grandmother passed away and he was presented to the Children’s Office. Since they could find no other surviving relatives they referred him to the Children’s Court, who placed him in St. Joseph’s Orphanage in Amukura, Kenya.

The Sisters describe Jacob as a hard working boy. He loves his work and presents himself maturely. He listens to advice and tries to put it in action. He is friendly and respectful. Jacob is good in poetry and entertainment. He is a minister in the Children’s Assembly of Busia, he is also a member of Pontifical Children in the Church.
